Yinsong Chen is a postdoctoral researcher at the ARC Future Grids Training Centre. He earned his PhD from Deakin University, focusing on uncertainty in renewable energy systems. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Control Engineering from Nanjing University of Science and Technology and a Master’s degree in software engineering (with distinction) from the University of Melbourne. Yinsong’s research is centered on quantifying aleatoric and epistemic uncertainties in renewable energy generation and power system models through data-driven methods, with the goal of enhancing grid resilience and reliability. His research interests encompass deep learning, power systems, and their intersections, with a particular focus on probabilistic renewable energy forecasting and power system reliability and control. His work reflects a strong commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions.
