Sarah is Senior Lecturer in the School of Engineering, in the College of Sciences and Engineering. She has made significant contributions on the development of modelling and maximum power extraction techniques for photovoltaic systems under non-uniform environmental conditions. Her main area of research is renewable energy and the integration of renewable energy sources into the electricity grid. Sarah’s teaching and interests include Electric Machines, Renewable Energy, Human centred design, power systems. She is also currently involved in STEM education and outreach research projects.
