AEMO Control Centre visit on 17 August 2026
On 17 August, students from the IEEE Power & Energy Society University of Wollongong Student Branch Chapter (IEEE PES UOW SBC) visited the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) SCADA Control Centre in Bella Vista.
The visit gave students valuable insights into real-time power system operation and the role of AEMO in monitoring and managing Australia’s electricity system.
